I must have

Done a number on someone

In my last few lifetimes

Never learning my lesson

Paining the good and pure intentioned

Over and over

Lifetime after lifetime

Until my conscious grew weary

And came into the new me

With nothing but

Regrets and benevolence

And once my spirit

Was washed of malice

Karma reared her head,

Fair and apathetic
